Wonderful news regarding Pufu

Pufu is one of Mr. M.’s 40 cats who had the chance to be adopted.

Please read below the news we received about him.

“As I promised, I write two words, even if late, about our wonderful Puf. I’ll start from the night we adopted him. We took him directly to the vet, where he got deworming, vaccination, the health card, ear cleaning, a bath, a brushing, mani-pedi. Continue reading

Asys has problems

Asys is in trouble. Because of his urinary incontinence, his belly was always wet, so we had to make him wear a corset in order to keep in place the tampons that we change twice a day for him. The little one isn’t very happy with this new method, but we hope he’ll get used to it and he’ll feel better. The fungal infection specific to tomcats with ureterostomy has already appeared. In his case, the situation is worsened by the incontinence.
Keep your fingers crossed for Asys, please, he needs help.

Four souls prepare to fight for their lives

The mother cat and her 5 kittens were taken in foster care, as someone offered to help them immediately after seeing our post.
Unfortunately, despite all the care given to the mother and kittens, one of the kittens died today. Isn’t it sad? Wouldn’t it have been better if the cat had been neutered from the very beginning, as we keep recommending, even though people keep ignoring our recommendations?
We’ll keep you updated on the kittens’ evolution and we’ll promote them when they are big enough to be given for adoption.

SofistiCat’s effects and thank you Candice

Gina, one of Mr. M.’s 40 cats, was adopted yesterday at the exhibition organized by the SofistiCat Feline Association. The little one has already adapted to her new life and she is certainly happy. We thank everyone who made her adoption possible and especially to the adopters, who gave her a wonderful chance.

It’s not a bad thing at all to meet new friends, to be able to play as you like it, to have more room to move around and I recommend to other people, too, to adopt a pussycat in need of a home. My new masters are wonderful and I love them very much. But this isn’t to say that I don’t miss all my old friends, who are still in Mr. M.’s home – I will never forget him and I’ll love him for the rest of my life.

Minnie – for adoption

I don’t know how many of you remember Minnie, one of the three new born pups found last year in the Baneasa forest, to refresh your memory click here.

Well, her story is back to your attention, just that not at the ‘Happy Tails’ Album as we hoped. We want to find her a responsible owner.

The brave little ones from the tram at sleeping hour

You must remember the 3 fellows abandoned in a tram in our capital.
The little ones say hi and expect you to take them home. They are good, active and now they learn how to play. They ate, walked a little, moved and turned around and now they rest to grow big and handsome.
Until they will grow enough they need good quality food, vitamins, calcium, anti-parasitic pills, vaccine shots and for all this we need help. Continue reading

News regarding the dog with prolapse

Unfortunately the news are not so good. At 1.30 am the puppy had an epileptic crisis, he started to shiver and to bite the cage bars. The doctors gave him a medicine to calm him, but the temperature of the little one started to decrease and all the doctor’s efforts were in vain. At around 8.30 am we were announced that the puppy died.
We are sorry that despite all the good news we received after the surgery, the puppy’s body didn’t resist.
Thank you all for your support given.

Lexy arrived home

Lexy is one of Mr. M’s 40 cats.
She had the bad luck to be adopted and returned after just a few hours, but also the good luck to be adopted again, we hope that this time she found her home for the rest of her life.
Today we had the joy of receiving news and a photo of her. It appears the little one has adapted well to her new location and she was lucky, in our opinion, to find a patient family willing to make her feel at home.
Thank you for the good news! We wish you all the best!

Sofisticat (spring edition) results

We had two hectic days, with lots of encounters, talking, congratulations and encouraging from people who know and support us, with lots of advice that we gave to people who stopped to ask for help concerning stray animals that they care about.
And the result: 8 cats adopted in two days at the SofistiCat exhibition! It’s a big number to us and we are very thankful to our dear friend, Candice, and to the SofistiCat Feline Association, who invite us year after year and give us the chance to find a home for the cats in our care.
