We maintain our opinion

As we are always saying, to solve the stray dogs problem there is ONLY ONE SOLUTION.
CONTROLLING THE REPRODUCTION OF OWNED DOGS, THEIR IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION IN ONE NATIONAL DATABASE .
To put it in other words, if nobody abandons any dog or cat anymore and all the stray animals are neutered, the problem would easily be solved and in a few years no stray animal would be on the streets. This way we could be joining the civilized countries from the animal protection point of view.

We don’t believe a thing

The usual lies that authorities always say to kill some more animals. They will kill them for nothing because other and other animals will be abandoned over and over again from the yards on the outskirts of towns and cities, and the streets will be full of strays again in a short while and they’ll never get rid of strays.
The solution is always the same, meaning CONTROLLING THE REPRODUCTION OF OWNED ANIMALS – to eradicate abandonment. The reason the authorities do not apply this solution is that it doesn’t bring any profit to them. Continue reading

5 lovely kittens in need of a home

cei-5Five kittens and their mum need a home. They are approximately one month and a half old and they have been raised with lots of love until now. The mum will be neutered when the kittens arrive at their homes.

If you like any of the little ones, please write to us at asociatia.robi@gmail.com. Please send us a link to the photo of the kitten you chose, too.

Dag is still in the hospital

Dag, the big gentle dog, is very sad. Nobody was kind enough to offer him a small corner in their yard where he could live peacefully until he gets better. He doesn’t like his hospital cage at all and because he can’t stay still and always tears up his bandage he has to endure a very uncomfortable collar. If you think you can help him now, please contact us at: asociatia.robi@gmail.com.

This is how i grow old

Dear friends, I’ve recently become an orphan but luckily I’ve been taken in mother Betty’s care – I call her mother Betty – she knows how to cook such wonderful meals that I’d like to eat all the time. If you ever come across small kittens thrown to the garbage, don’t let them die there, take them home and give them a little milk, because it’s not a big deal, then, when they start to eat by themselves, promote them for adoption and be careful who you give them to, because not all requests are serious and not everybody knows how to take care of us. But please, we pray you: DON’T LET US GIVE BIRTH TO OTHER KITTENS TOO. We don’t want anybody else to have to suffer what we had suffered until we were found.

Tiny the dog with walking problems- for adoption

Tiny is a small sized female dog, neutered, vaccinated and, as you can see, with some locomotor problems. The little one was found in the woods, covered in fleas and ticks. After investigations, the doctors concluded that Tiny is healthy and that, unfortunately, she will have an instability in her moves for the rest of her life. No one can know what happened to her, but we know for sure she can lead a normal life even with her problems. She is shy but well behaved and she’s grateful for being loved and cared for. We have 2 naughty girls

The two little sisters of approximately 3 months old, Selene and Yuki, are feeling great together. They eat together, they sleep together and they help each other to overcome their fears. They have different personalities, and that makes them function together very well.
Now they aren’t as fearful anymore, so every evening we have a purring program. Of course, this doesn’t yet mean a warm welcome when I get home from work, but I know exactly where to find them: under the bed. If I want to get them out of there, I must make this effort 🙂

Nera arrived in the shelter

Nera1Because the foster period is over and nobody asked to adopt Nera, now the little one is in our shelter. The change from the soft couch to the hard and not very comfortable shelter floor has made Nera lose her cheerfulness. But she’s started to adapt, day by day, we hope her adaptation is not going to be necessary much longer. Continue reading
