Found today, the 25th May 2013, randomly walking on the streets. The little female dog seems to be 2 months and a half old, we named her Milly and she promises to become a special dog, good and very educated.

The story has changed: it’s not about “husky cross with two puppies” anymore, it’s become “husky cross with seven (7) puppies! Yes, you heard it right. A short while after we’ve taken over the three dogs, other 5 puppies were abandoned in the same spot…

The mother will be neutered this week, and then she will be ready for adoption. The puppies are now held for deworming and vaccination. We invite you to see them and maybe, if you like one of them, to adopt it.

Who would have thought, 4 months ago, that the little soul who used to desperately cling to life would now be bouncing happily in a civilized country?

Little Tina has found her peace and happiness abroad. We hope you’re enjoying the good news with us!

Rocco Crooked Mouth is one of the veterans in our shelter, he’s been in our care since 2007. Then he was a tiny puppy, but nobody wanted him.
He was just a common mongrel in the eyes of the onlookers. It took 7 years and a higher civilization for someone to really see and appreciate him and to give him a chance.

Not long ago, Adina M. wrote to us, offering to volunteer. Last weekend she came to the shelter for the first time and fell in love with our dogs. Today she returned and brought some hard working friends. Today the kittens were taken away. There were only two left, the others being taken, we were told, by some neighbours in the area. We hope that they’ll recover soon, being under medical treatment and that we’ll be able to offer them for adoption.
Many thanks to the persons that offered them temporary foster homes and we encourage everybody to follow their example!

For a few days the little ones have found a safe place thanks to one of our volunteers. Even though we’re struggling to cope with the too many animals in our care, we couldn’t ignore their suffering. 
We still need help for them.
