The way home for Dede is very long
Dede the female dog we found at Dedeman a while ago
found her family far from Romania. She began her long journey in this evening that will take her in England where she is expected by her new owner. We keep our fingers crossed to our little one to arrive well and we eagerly wait for the news about the meeting with her new family. As soon as we have news we will share them with you.
Am I lucky, unlucky, lucky.. Does anybody want me?
This tomcat has around -8 months old and was found wondering on the streets. He is gentle and certainly had an owner. The weather wasn’t gentle with him so he cached a cold.
He needs urgently a temporary foster in case no one wants to adopt him, although as beautiful as he is we think we will receive a lot of requests for him. Continue reading
Lost tomcat in Bucharest. Toporasi area
Make has 2 and a half years, is neutered, vaccinated, very cranky, and his back legs are slightly in X. He knows his name and is very friendly (when he wants). He disappeared on 10 September 2012 from are Tablan Dumitru – Toporasi.

Special case. Puppy hit by car
Yesterday we received a call for help regarding a puppy hit by a car. The puppy dog cannot rely on his front paws because of a problem he has at his shoulder. Now is at Spiru Haret Clinic and receives all the medical needs. Tomorrow he will have a spine radiography to determine the cause that holds him back to sustain himself on his front paws.

Special case. Injured dog needs help
For three days he remained still after he had a car accident, without any help, without anyone living him food. He was lucky a lady saw him and called us and watched the dog until Mihai, our volunteer went to take him.
The dog is at Spiru Haret Clinic and had surgery. His needs are the same as any special case’s needs:
– the cost for the surgery
– temporary shelter after the surgery until he recovers

A cat and four kittens need help
You surely remember the story of the cat with 4 kittens from the corner of a block of flats. A while ago we received a call for help for them. These little ones are practically staying in the street and they can easily get injured anytime.

The Underground cat
Do you recognize me? I am the cat found in the subway. If I am thinking good I am not so sorry that I am not there anymore. I think I am naturally drowned to a civilized life, with soft spots near stoves, especially now in the winter. In spring I will be a real mannered young lady and I will wait for adoption proposals.
Dina and Gretel grew
Dina&Gretel grown but they are still beautiful. They finished all the vaccines, are walking nicely on a leash and look for owners. From the 7 puppies abandoned in the shelter, on the 17-th of November, they are the only ones still available for adoption. Sandy is in foster
Sandy now has two (temporary) guardian angels who teach her what it means to be loved and cared for. They have told us that she likes milk and doggy treats. When they move around the house, she raises her head and follows them with her eyes. Then, when they leave home, even for a short time, she cries a little bit. (This we know from her new buddy the tomcat, who never leaves her alone 🙂

News from Life
Remember Life? He surely hasn’t forgotten you and he is fighting every day for every good thought you’ve sent. The recovery period has just started though and he has a long way to go until healing completely. But we are optimistic and we won’t give up. Thanks to all the people who got involved in supporting his treatment.
