Yesterday 4 of our dogs left the shelter and went on a road that will take them to their homes: Sansa and Tutti at Hamburg, Bonita at Hannover, Vanilla at Konstanz. We wish them safe trip to our lucky little ones and we wait impatient news and photos with them, which we will add to this album as soon as we receive them.

Why do we prefer the international adoptions?
In Romania we are asked most of the times for guard dogs and most of them, in the end, are kept in chains. Of course we prefer to send them in other countries where they will be loved, respected and spoiled.
Special case. Ursula needs help
Ursula, as we named her was abandoned in Bucharest near a block of flats. A lady with a good heart made her a place to stay but another people with no hearts at all broke the improvised home. There were 2 female pups and 1 male. The male is gone, Ursula had an accident and her little sister is still there were nothing good is waiting for her.
We decided that Ursula will remain in our care. The little one is now in the clinic, she had surgery at both of her legs and her recovery will last for a while. Continue reading
Special case. Help for an injured dog
The little one from this pictures remained in 3 legs. After an accident he had an open fracture, old and with necroses near the femur and with the total loss of the distal portion of the femur and unfortunately the leg couldn’t be saved. We were contacted in her case to help the cost of the surgery and of course we couldn’t refuse.

News regarding Sandy the paralyzed dog
Sandy is feeling better. She had her rabies vaccination and could leave the country after Feb. 15. The problem is that our friends who are fostering her now must leave the city in about a week, so we need to find out another foster home for her in Bucharest, for another week or two after Feb 8. Please share and help us find a foster home for her!
Five puppies need help
Six of the Ghenea cemetery puppies got sick. One of them died and the other ones are in treatment. We hope that all will be cured. They are beautiful and we believe they have great chances to be adopted.

Pussy is ready to go home
Pussy is making progress. She learned to use the litter box and is not so fearful anymore so she can be left free. She still needs to learn how to play, though. We are hoping she will do that soon. We forgot to tell you that she was neutered and she is feeling very good. She is first when it comes to food, she has a big appetite, of course of good food.

Zaza at her home
Remember the case of the cat caught by dogs and with a lot of health problems, who practically escaped death a few times?
Well her faith was good, the little one got adopted with a lot of love and here she is now how big and beautiful became. Thank you Andra for the news and photos. We wish the little one a lot of health, you too and enjoy each other
A small female dog needs foster
This little one will be discharged and she needs urgent temporary foster. She is leaning only on three paws but in time she will use the fourth one too. Until then she needs a warm and quiet place to stay. Can anyone help her?
Our dogs in Germany
Britta and Tonka are home and enjoy their new life. Genna as well arrived home and we are glad to see how spoiled she is.
