Do you have a trailer that you are not using?

Posted on 01/05/2013 in News, Financial emergencies

A friend dear to us, an extremely hardworking, decent and animal loving person, is going to lose his home. As he has nothing left to lose and humans have disappointed him, he now wants to take care of animals. He agrees to move to our dog shelter, but there are absolutely no living conditions for a human being there. We need a trailer for him.

If anyone has an old trailer that they would be willing to donate, please write to us at: [email protected]

Our dogs would benefit too. They would be socialized and protected 24 hours a day.

Fumi was returned

We keep repeating it: ADOPTION IS NOT A WHIM, BUT A RESPONSIBILITY. Folks, an animal isn’t a piece of furniture, an animal has initiative, gets bored, wants company, leaves hairs in the house and cannot pass the vacuum cleaner.

Think TWICE before adopting an animal just because it’s sweet, fluffy, small, pure breed or any other such reason. Continue reading →

Life still needs help

Posted on 29/04/2013 in News, Financial emergencies

The news isn’t good, but not bad either. Anyway, Life’s condition is stable. If he used to make some progress, as little as it may have been, his condition seems to follow a flat line for some time. That’s why we want to redo the series of X-rays… maybe it’s something we missed.

His bladder is also continuing to create problems. Continue reading →

Special case became a happy ending story

Posted on 28/04/2013 in News

The pretty kitty had the misfortune of falling from a high window, she broke a paw and her owner decided to EUTHANIZE her because she didn’t want to spend money to treat her (we’re talking about a “lady” around 50, decently dressed and with a perm hairdo). When this mistress found out that euthanasia costs money too, she decided to abandon the cat at a street corner or in a park. Continue reading →

Nimbus beautiful and sad..

Posted on 27/04/2013 in News

We saved Nimbus with great difficulty from the hot air ducts in the Patria Cinema, when he was a little kitten. He was adopted soon after and for two years he has been living happily in his home. But a few days ago he was sent back to us, because someone in the family developed a very strong allergy and cannot tolerate him anymore. Continue reading →

Spock- available for adoption

Posted on 27/04/2013 in News

We placed ads for him on the internet and on the streets, but we didn’t find his owners. Only one person contacted us, who couldn’t even describe the dog but insisted he wanted to pay 500 RON for him.

We named him Spock, dewormed and vaccinated him, and now we want to offer him for adoption to someone responsible and experienced in raising and educating dogs. Continue reading →

Dear friends, the doggie and kitty tails at ROBI invite you Saturday, April 27, between the hours of 12 and 6 PM, to our new “Donate a can of food” event!

The ‘stray dogs’ business

Posted on 24/04/2013 in News

Homeless dogs represent a multi-million euro business in Romania. City halls in large cities throughout the country have allocated large sums of money for the capture, transport and sheltering of stray dogs, however, the results are far from satisfactory. Here we present you the current situation in three large Romanian cities where a virtual industry, inefficiently controlled by controversial businessmen and tolerated by the authorities, developed and depends on the presence of homeless dogs.

Bibi and a really happy ending

Posted on 22/04/2013 in News

She was called Tibi. Now she is Bibi and we can state that the little one has a happy life now.
Ever since she was born she ONLY stayed in an apartment. Her master tried to take her out for a walk once and because the dog was scared she decided not to take her out again. Recently her master died and the female dog and 6 kittens had to leave the apartment in which they spent all their lives.
