Yesterday 23.11.2012 we received the following message:
‘Hello!
I disturb you because I don’t know where to go to receive some help.
A month and a half ago, a dog with the back legs broken was thrown in the city’s garbage dump in Urziceni, Ialomita. I fed him and covered him when rained, but in one day a bulldozer flatten the mud from that garbage dump and he was thrown in a dried up riverbed. For about 2 weeks I didn’t see him so I thought he was buried alive. For about a week I found him in the riverbed. I got to him and fed him, including today. Initially I thought he is paralyzed but today he was glad and even waived his tail.
I went to the veterinaries in the city to ask them to euthanize him because he is in great torment. My request was rejected because they need some kind of approvals. I would take him home but I already have 4 dogs and 3 cats, all taken from the streets.

We read, we were amazed and we reacted.
Alina and Mihai, Our volunteers brought him in Bucharest. The dog is now hospitalized at Spiru Haret and in a few hours we will know what is his state. He looks like a skeleton and it is a miracle that he survived in the above mentioned conditions.

The news are among the worst. The dog doesn’t have the legs broken but serious problems at his spine, he has the thoracic vertebrae compacted (it is a dysplasia that gives him pain). We don’t know what are his chances for healing but we will try everything medically speaking. We don’t know how he got in this situation but we believe it is no accident as we initially thought. We shall post news about his situation as soon as any change occurs. We thank you from our hearts for your support.
