I was born near some people who at first glance seemed to be nice. When I was about a month old, they proved me wrong and threw me and my brothers on a derelict lot where there was no food or shelter, but only a sewer we could have fallen into.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know how we suddenly got lucky, but someone came and took us to a place where our primary needs were finally being met.
