This little girl was found on a field, lying down, unable to move. She had dozens of ticks and couldn’t stand on her feet. Now she is in hospital, under medical care. Unfortunately her situation is uncertain. She suffers from babesiosis, pelvic fracture and a femur fracture.

The little tomcat in these images was found by two good-hearted young people. He was in a terrible situation. After an accident he had a broken paw and internal hemorrhage. His rescuers took him to a veterinarian hospital and they paid for his treatment until he was stable. When they couldn’t afford to pay further treatments necessary, they asked for our help. Today the little one was put in splints in an attempt to save his broken paw and he was neutered, too. If the paw doesn’t heal itself, it will be amputated and the poor cat will have only three legs. Someone recently wrote us about the miserable life of a few puppies. Even if we cannot take them with us because our shelter is overcrowded, Alina I., one of Robi’s volunteers, went to see what their situation is. One look was enough. She took the little one, who was in a terrible state, and hospitalized him at Marco Vet as an emergency. 
The puppy will have a surgical operation today and he will stay in hospital until Monday. His condition is very serious and it’s impossible to tell if the surgery can save him. Continue reading →

Fancy is a stray dog that was lucky to survive on the streets of Bucharest for years, being protected and accepted in a neighborhood with nice people. His luck ended recently when he was hit by a car and as e result of this accident now he has a bone fracture at one leg. His protectors hospitalized him for surgery but they cannot support the whole cost so they asked for financial support.

Recently we received a message to help a female dog hit by car that cannot lift on her legs and when she wants to walk she crawls. Scaredy was named by her savior, Ioana, and she is in a difficult situation because she depends not only on the vet’s knowledge but also on the God’s will. She has the spine vertebrae dislocated, she cannot defecate and urinate by herself and her back paws are broken too.

Again a message for help brought nightmares. A female pup, only a few months old that cannot stand on her back paws was abandoned in a box near other abandoned pups. The lady that takes care of the healthy puppies was surprised to find another dog and when she realized she is paralyzed she noticed she is struggling to walk and actually crawling. Six kittens and a dog will end up in the streets if we do not find a solution for them. Their master died and the animals cannot remain in that apartment.
There are 4 female cats, young and docile, 1 young and a bit scared tomcat and another tomcat very scared and we hardly made a photo with him. The dog is as well really scared he never got out of the apartment.

A few days ago I received a request to help a wounded tomcat that seemed to have a broken paw and infection.

The tomcat arrived in our care; he was hospitalized and was operated for femur fracture.

Dyda was found on a field in a desperate condition. She was almost inert and we are not surprised because although she was underfed she had many ticks and of course babesia too. She was hospitalized on Saturday and she is treated for babesia. Now she is feeling better and soon she will be neutered.
